Hamin Basim Ansar, of Orlando, Florida, peacefully entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Orlando Health Ocoee.

Born on July 12, 1958, in Jacksonville, Mr. Hamin lived a rich life filled with love, faith, and unwavering devotion to his family. He was a man of many passions, from traveling and exploring new places to cooking delightful meals for those he cherished. His enthusiasm for life extended to his unwavering support for his beloved Dallas Cowboys, as he enjoyed cheering them on with infectious spirit.

Hamin will be remembered for his warm-hearted nature and steadfast loyalty to family and friends. His dedication carried through his years of hard work as a hotel laundry driver; a role he fulfilled faithfully until his health necessitated a change.

A time of remembrance and visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with public visitation to follow from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together and celebrate Hamin’s remarkable life during the Celebration of Life service on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Zarephath Tabernacle, located at 1028 E. 10th Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206.

Hamin leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. In this time of sorrow, we hold onto the memories created and the love shared. As we reflect on his life, we share a poem of remembrance:

We sat beside your bedside,

Our hearts were crushed and sore,

We did our best to the end,

Till we could do no more.

In tears we watched you sinking

We watched you fade away,

And tough our hearts were breaking,

We knew you could not stay.

You left behind some aching hearts,
