Martha Lois Bell

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”– II Corinthians 5:8

Today, may you find peace and understanding in knowing that God is near to the brokenhearted and comforts those whose spirits are crushed by loss. Though Martha will be deeply missed, she will never be forgotten. She is now at rest—at peace in the loving arms of her Savior.

As we continue our own journeys through life, let us remember to express love daily to those dearests to us. No one is promised tomorrow or guaranteed old age; that is why each moment we share is so precious. Do not worry about me or how brief my life may have seemed to you. I lived fully and joyfully, and now I have gone on to that beautiful land where so many loved ones have already gone before.

Martha L. Bell, 87, was born on December 1, 1937, to John and Harriet Simmons in Lake Wales, Florida. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her earthly journey.

On October 14, 2025, God, in His infinite wisdom, called Martha home to eternal rest, declaring that her work on earth was complete. She now joins beloved family members who have gone before her to be with the Lord.
